The Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel offers calming views of downtown Norfolk and the Elizabeth River, with inviting dining, comfortable rooms, and flexible event spaces. As a hotel in downtown Norfolk, VA, guests are near Town Point Park, Norfolk State University, Nautica’s, and the Chrysler Museum of Art.
Rooms can be reserved for the state per diem rate!

The hotel block closes on October 14, or when all rooms are booked.

The VAEOPP 2023 Conference Committee would like to invite businesses, individuals, and agencies to engage with our membership during our upcoming state conference taking place October 15-18, 2023, at the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center in Virginia Beach, VA.

The 2023 conference will have approximately 125 in-person attendees of TRIO personnel and college access providers from Virginia and beyond. TRIO Programs, funded through the U.S. Department of Education, serve low-income, first-generation students attending middle school through college. Virginia currently hosts 62 TRIO programs serving more than 15,002 students and provide resources for college awareness and readiness, career exploration, college admissions and financial aid, tutoring, counseling, summer college residential programs, research programs at the graduate level, and many more academic support activities.
